Important information about our Halloween event! PDF  | Print |  E-mail
Wednesday, 11 October 2017 00:00

Dear neighbors,

Riverview's annual 2017 Halloween parade & hayride has been canceled.

Unfortunately, the Farm that has done our hayride for many years has notified us that, sadly, they will no longer be doing "on-site" hayrides due to liability issues and we have been unsuccessful in finding another farm to come to us...

For those of you interested in our annual event, we do have some good news - we have been invited to join in with the Conimicut Village Association for an event that their association helps to coordinate! Please click here for the Conimicut Spook-Tacular flyer for more information.

*Please note that Riverview Improvement Association has agreed to help out with this event and volunteers will be needed to make this happen.
Examples of volunteer activities needed include but are not limited to:
-pumpkin carving -we need freshly carved pumpkins for display for the event (see flyer for drop off time and location)
-help with clean up of the area the event will be held (to be done that morning)
-help with set up for different activities that are planned for the event (to be done that afternoon)
-help during the event (supervision & help with games & activities, etc)
-clean up after the event
-and more

IF YOU CAN VOLUNTEER at all, please contact our President, Kevin, at the following email: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
(please send a separate email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , do not reply to this email)
or you can send a private message through our Facebook page letting us know you can help, and we will set you up.
(a great opportunity for teens to earn community service hours!)

Thank you!
